about

After falling on his ass from all the turbulence of the 'rabbit hole', he quietly reflects on it all as he goes through the unfortunate but necessary stage of disillusionment.

lyrics

I used to think that the dim sun was oddly beautiful
Until I found out what it really was
I used to think that all institutions were there to serve us
Until I found out what they really are
This stage of disillusionment is mostly complete
But I still struggle with discerning what is truly real and what is not
Time to retire the box of moving images
Which took us from the forest to isolated space
And the only back is through disillusionment
Back to the forest
Time to reconnect (through disillusionment back to the forest)
I used to think that the dim sun was oddly beautiful
