    This is the last album under the name "The Rusty Nails" which never really had a proper release. I made it in 2007....did a few shows, sort of....then moved to the Iron City and more or less put it into a kind of 'time capsule', shall we say. I began an off-the-charts "DIY" experiment with this album back in '07 that involved literally cutting, folding and PAINTING EACH cover with watercolors one CD booklet at a time. Suffice it to say, that ceased after about 10 album covers. A great lesson teaching me that TIME is the most important currency...at least while I'm still in a human suit. Nevertheless, I'm resurrecting it from the dead because this record marked a noticeable shift in my own consciousness as is evidenced from the liner notes which has the lyrics embedded in a lengthy 'stream of consciousness'. It's closer to the style of music I write nowadays and it's the only Rusty Nails' album which I can still play from beginning to end and enjoy, especially while driving. The other albums still have a couple of tracks I like here or there but that's it (hence, the reason for the 'History In The Rust' album here on bandcamp). The DIYish nature is still there as I had 500 sticker copies made of the original artwork and cut and applied each one as well as cutting the liner notes with my rogue mystic ranting....much of which I still agree with. More to say about this record, but I'll leave it there for now. Hope you enjoy it.....if you buy it that is.
